Bassel and his better half (Alyse) will be running workshops in Istanbul this September with Syrian refugees at the Karam House via Karam Foundation! ✌🏽
Bassel’s workshop, “Living Through Art,” is about inspiring students to discover their passions, and to find creative means of expression through the arts. We will help students to find their artistic voice, and empower them to plan a rewarding future.
Alyse’s workshop, “The Resilience and Growth in Daily Life,” relates to mental health - expanding on the incredible work she has been doing for years in Chicago through Kaleidoscope. She has been overseeing and developing multiple programs related to child welfare, and her growth is nothing short of remarkable.
